How to Make a Cooling Foot Spray

Did you know how easy it is to make a refreshing foot spray for the coming hot summer days?

Take a peppermint tea bag and make a 8 oz cup of tea. Let it steep for 15 mins with a plate over your cup. Take this and melt two to three ice cubes in it. Into a small 2 to 4 oz plastic spray bottle (most drugstores sell these nowadays), pour as much of the tea as you can.

Optionally, you can also add 1 drop of peppermint essential oil and 1 drop of tea tree essential oil to the tea in the spray bottle. This will increase the cooling effect and add an antimicrobial effect as well to combat athlete's foot and foot odor.

Label the spray bottle and toss it in your purse or bag to use whenever your feet begin to feel hot or get the numb feeling from being on them too long. This should last you a few days if you keep it in your purse or bag and a week if you keep it in the refrigerator.

And don't forget to drink the rest of your now chilled tea to cool yourself down from the inside out:)!
